@andmicbro1: Unless he somehow exposed the film, he basically just smashed a pricey lense for no reason. You see, the film is where the pictures are stored. And that's assuming it's a film camera. If it's a digital camera you can smash the bejesus out of the damn thing and the SD card will still contain the digital photos. Cameras and expensive yo. And a good lense is probably worth more than the frame of the camera. So unless you've got a hate boner for expensive camera gear, maybe direct your anger better. It's not just this scene, it's a Hollywood cliche. They always smash the whole camera to "destroy" the evidence. Doesn't work like that.
