John Humphrey, Andrew Gordon, Greg Alba & Coy Jandreau dive into one of the most explosive episodes of the series, bringing you their Daredevil Season 2 Episode 8 reaction, recap, commentary, breakdown, analysis, and full spoiler review!!

John Humphrey, Andrew Gordon, Greg Alba & Coy Jandreau react to and break down Daredevil Season 2 Episode 8, starring Charlie Cox (Stardust, Boardwalk Empire) as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket, Jurassic World) as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood, Escape Room) as Karen Page, and Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie, All Rise) as Bullseye.
The episode centers around the intense courtroom battle as Matt Murdock faces off directly against Wilson Fisk, leading to one of the most shocking moments of the series when Matt publicly reveals himself as Daredevil. As highlighted in the reaction, the tension between Fisk and Matt reaches a boiling point, with both characters pushing the limits of control, power, and identity .
At the same time, the episode escalates outside the courtroom as Bullseye’s presence adds another layer of danger, with confusion between identities and a growing sense that everything is spiraling out of control. The city itself begins to fracture, with citizens and authorities taking sides, creating an atmosphere that feels less like law and order and more like the brink of war.
From Fisk’s commanding presence on the stand to the chaos that erupts across New York, this episode brings together multiple storylines in a way that feels like a turning point for the entire season—setting the stage for even bigger consequences ahead.

@giancork1656: Dunno…..I just can't get into these two seasons. There are so many things that ……mmmmm…..irks me. The first thing is superficial: presentation. The way is shot and photographed just feels 'cheap'. Or better, slightly garish. You can see it ain't 'cheap' but lack ….taste and a strong sense of its own esthetic. I muched preferred the more natural and grounded style of the Netflix seasons. The second thing is: content. This just can't hod a candle to the richness of characters of the Netflix era. All characters here come out pretty flat. With maybe the exception of Buck and the guy that BB 'screws' up ( I can't remember is name….).Andmaybe Bullseye. You can sense this so strongly when they do the flashbacks (are those scenes that were cut out from the Netflix series). With only a few scenes you can feel how much more fleshed out the writing was. Fogy and Matt interactions just have a spark that none of the interections on Disney had. A very meh show for me. Bullseye diner scene probably best scene of the season.

@bigblackcoffee5083: Fisk should be in prison for murdering those civilians. Also why would bullseye tell the agent basically its a trap instead of waiting for fisk to come outside and just shooting fisk in the head himself. He could have played along like he was a task force agent. Fisk being on a island would never just happen he would be in 24/7 lock down in federal prison.

@spidahman-f4t: I’m glad they adapted North’s redemption arc for the comics. Seems like Bullseye could be apart of the Dark Avengers hopefully. I’m just waiting for the MCU to hopefully green light that movie. I got out of my chair jumping when Luke came back. Always could to see court stuff in Daredevil. This was a great finale.

@yourlarkivist: Okay I realized Bullseye has made 5 attempts since dd s3 to take out Fisk: 1st: Dex crashing Fisk's wedding — DD S3 finale2nd: 3-way fight — DD S3 finale3rd: Balcony sniper — Born Again S1E84th: Fogwells — Born Again S2E45th: Sniper across courtnouse — Born Again S2 finaleMatt saved Fisk the first 4x …smh

@caiorabbi3001: Mr Charles works for Valentina and she lost her "expendable" team, she needs another. TBH, "Dark Avengers" sound a little silly (New Avengers did), and "Thunderbolts" kinda only worked for that group, because of Yelena and Alexei. What other team could they be?
