What’s going on, my Daredevils? It’s me MT and welcome back to the Heavy Spoilers show! And bro…Episode 4 of Daredevil Born Again Season 2 was INSANE! Not only did Blue Benny go to Denny’s and murder many after his milkshake brought all the boys to the yard…but that crazy bastard would do it AGAIN and eliminate yet another major character from the Daredevil franchise! We’re gonna talk about that and all the hidden details and references in this episode so let’s just get into this thang!

@KrazyKobold: Both you guys and Screen Crush/Ryan didn't point out that Javi Espinosa (the guy in this episode Angela entrusts with getting BB the SD cards, and played by actor Alexis Frias) IS THE SAME "punk kid" that was trying to steal a bottle of wine/booze from the bodega that got Soledad and the bodega owner arrested by the AVTF. I think that was, in part, why Angela went to him — he "owed her" for what happened.

@ncmacasl: "Not only did Blue Benny go to Denny's and murder many after his milkshake brought all the boys to the yard, but that crazy bastard would do it again and eliminate yet another major character from the Daredevil franchise." — LOVE your wordplay as always, MT!!

@geniejunkie: Ah, someone finally discusses the dragon bones. Sure it's shelf-able by design but it's there. I don't think anyone is going to explain the plot of defenders in a major movie, but it is something that could be built upon in some way.

@antolinosanta8870: Episode was epic, the only thing I would've changed is the way Vanessa gets injured, I would've made a comic homage where he stabs her like he did Electra in the comics. Best Daredevil episode in Born Again.

@kylerunkle4398: Love the actor playing bullseye and how badass they made him, but hate the "redemption arc" Quit making villians sympathetic. Bullseye needs to stay a sadistic psychopath. Yet he is teaming up with DD

@MROAT2424: Cole North's decision has been built up this entire season. For example, he sees Powell kill Saunders and blame it on a vigilante. There are scenes of him questioning Powell. Also, in that conversation outside the courthouse, he realizes Powell lied to him about Hector. Cole did kill Hector last season, however he realizes now he was tricked by Powell. This is why he finally turns against him. It is not a random scene.

@SectatorDei: I enjoyed the season but my main quarrel with this season was them not showing how the city reacted to the court case I think if it would have had more of a focus on this court case and it not just appear in the last episode it would have felt more earned and we could’ve seen people chose their sides and their anger grow but I still loved this season definitely better than season one

@nathanielpakyntein390: Lowkey the worst ending How does fisk get pardoned for all the people he killed and for all the shit show It's somehow realistic that a politician after committing heinous crimes gets a beach vacation but hell nawwwThe ending was lowkey so bad, makes me wanna watch Daredevil made by Netflix, they did justice to the script.

@ddSPlKE: I can tell from your perspective that marvel tv just isnt for you

@Anónimodesinteresado: Probably the worst NY Mayor since Rudy Giuliani

@RodAlzWyl: The quality jump from season 1 to 2 is palpable. Mediocre might not be the most accurate description. However, might be a matter of taste or incompatibility.

@Sakib458: If only Mike Colter didn't spoil some of it bruh😂 Don't matter, I'm still very excited for this Finale!!!

@worldbiggestgeek9366: It’s gonna be a big epic finale for everyone to join forces in New York

@balloonboba: Season three CANNOT come soon enough dude

@AadityaPandey-nv7yc: The show is not at all mediocre

@hkfifty871: Okay, I'm gonna have a LOT of people disagreeing with my personal ranking. Last place: OG season 3. I liked almost all of it (especially the interplay between Bullseye and Fisk), but it really felt for me like the pacing of ALL the arcs were stretched out an episode or two too long before they actually paid off. They would tee something up SO beautifully… and then stretch it to the point that there were SO MANY times I found myself thinking "okay, we get it, we can see where this is going, let's just… get to it", and it would be an entire episode or two before it actually went anywhere.4th place: Born Again Season 1. I liked it a LOT more than I was expecting, and the diner scene is just perfection, but you can definitely see the stitching of the different visions for the show at times, and as much as I LOVE Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Frank Castle, his character felt a bit uncharacteristically passive and uninvested in the goings-on. 3rd place: Born Again Season 2. Solid improvement over the first season in nearly every way, great character arcs, Glenn's arc is quite possibly the most interesting character decelopment in any season, and I REALLY hope they deliver on that in the third season, and though most of the arcs were pretty clear from the get-go, unlike my issues with the original season 3, they kept the pacing tight enough that it didn't feel like anything was overstaying its welcome.2nd place: OG season 2. Nothing really to add here, the Punisher elements were SO STRONG that they carry most of the season. 1st place: original season 1. I adore EVERYTHING they did in this first season. Establishing our cast of characters, piece by piece introducing Fisk and his allies and their different plots and angles and agendas, building into one of the greatest hero-villain duos EVER on screen (there's a reason season 3 and Born Again kept coming back to this well, it's because it was darn good) just… everything is great.

@revolover: My ranking:5. Born Again 1 (The main problem with this season and the Kingpin character in Disney series in general, for me personally, is that it is not explained how he got out of prison and was justified for all his crimes)4. Born again 2 (If Fisk hadn't gotten away with it in the end, my rating would have been higher than Netflix season 2, maybe even higher than season 3)3. Netflix 22. Netflix 3 (I found Matt's arc at first a bit far-fetched. Nadeem, who took a long time to realize Fisk was leading him on, was irritating. After it was revealed the feds were under Kingpin, he was too quick to publicly act like he was in charge, someone who'd gotten away with all the crimes he'd been imprisoned for. That said, I don't deny this season's strengths; on a recent rewatch, I found it significantly better than the first time I watched it)1. Netflix 1 (It's the peak. All the character arcs are excellent, there's no overload of characters or plotlines, and yet the writers have cleverly laid out the Chekhov's guns that will be fired in future seasons. You only notice a lot of things on your second or third rewatch of this season)

@MC-ej4to: Worst to best Daredevil Born again season 2 worst Daredevil Born again season 1 second worstSeason 2 Daredevil Netflix Season 3 Daredevil Netflix Lead by season 1 Netflix Daredevil the hallway scene alone is one of the greatest cinematic Master shots of all time people go to school for photography and filmography and still watch that choreography alone the single-shot edit…Foggy was a terrible character to lose, but they need to replace the father that Daredevil had because basically without him the show is kind of weak he was a guy that made Daredevil strong through wisdom projection fatherly love and understanding there's no more of that in the show…

@MC-ej4to: Maybe I'm wrong but season 2 of the new show I thought was horrible… They made Daredevil super weak.. it's extremely political polarizing political… And then how can fisk do what he did and never go to prison… I mean there's a lot of wild things that happen but you just can't kill like 15 people with your bare hands in front of God and everybody and just get exiled I guess

@kalvin187douglas: I love DD S2 personally, they balanced the punisher, Elektra, and the hand perfectly. The pacing wasn’t rushed, Matt learned from Frank about having a bad day and it happened when he lost Elektra and attempted to kill her murderer. It all came into alignment. Peak writing in my book.

@DevontayRiggin: At 5:00 mark, you say its glorious to see karen go from scared of fisk in nefflix to seeing her now seeker of revenge. That hard time makes us dark.Bro??????This is lazy writing Shes done 20 seconds of jail and you think this is what changed her???Bro you be reaching hardPlease stop. This show is lazyCheapI keep watching in hopes it changes. But just like THE BOYS, the show is dead and is wearing the skin of its earlier success. Stop defending this.Karen didnt evolve The writing just sucks.

@WinterSo1dier: They panned out when Buck “shot” Daniel and then that close up look on his face in the doorway didn’t make it seem like he went through with it. In my opinion. He looked like he was going to regret what he just did… letting Daniel live. I could be wrong but I don’t think they’re done with Daniel’s character.

@CrimmyCrim117: How does someone make the Pam asia magazine connection shown for a split second to a random not important scene in the amazing Spider-Man…. I seriously don't get how these guys connect the dots unless it's just on the internet with all the Easter eggs listed for each episode

@DevontayRiggin: Why did we allow this show to crap the bed????I understand they had problems with season one. Rewrites. Writer strikes. ReshootsThey told us season 2 will be epic.So we waitedAnd this is what we get???????Lazy fight scenes. Horrible dialog I want the Netflix daredevilNot this crap!!!!

@7fingeredjuggalo: i think Foggy is gonna come back.Karen is gonna die/"unsure of her fate"Punisher is gonna Punish.Jessica is gonna punch.Daredevil is gonna kill Kingpin and/or Buck after finding out about Karen and then we see Foggy at the end of the episode at Karens funeral.
