No. 5 Georgia closed strong, scoring 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat Texas 35–10 and boost its SEC and CFP position. Gunner Stockton threw four touchdown passes—two to Noah Thomas—and added a 4-yard rushing score, finishing 24-of-29 for 229 yards with one pick. He now has 27 total touchdowns on the year.

Arch Manning threw for 251 yards and a TD for Texas, which cut the deficit to 14–10 in the third quarter before Georgia answered with a 30-yard TD to London Humphreys. A surprise onside kick recovered by Cash Jones flipped momentum, and the Bulldogs followed with a 6-yard TD to Lawson Luckie and Stockton’s late rushing score. Key fourth-down conversions and a costly Texas penalty fueled Georgia’s surge.

Georgia’s defense locked down the final quarter, holding Texas scoreless and stopping multiple drives. Despite trailing in seven of eight SEC games this season, the Bulldogs again delivered late, earning their ninth home win over a top-10 opponent under Kirby Smart. Georgia moved to 9–1 (7–1 SEC), while Texas’ four-game winning streak ended and its playoff hopes took a hit.
