Did Disney Finally Fix the Muppets? (The Muppet Show Review)
For the first time in a decade, I have hope for The Muppets.
I went into the new «The Muppet Show 50th Anniversary Special» on Disney+ ready to be disappointed. I expected forced viral moments and «fellow kids» energy. Instead, I got the one thing I didn’t think Disney was capable of: A classic Muppet Show.
In this review, I break down why going backwards to the 1976 format was the only way for the franchise to move forward, how Sabrina Carpenter might be the best guest star since the original run, and why Matt Vogel’s Kermit finally clicked for me.
