As Marvel Studios continues the next chapter of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, Aaron Alexander, Gregory Alba, Coy Jandreau & Andrew Gordon return to give their Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 4 reaction, recap, commentary, breakdown, analysis, and full spoiler review!!
They react to and break down Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 4, the Disney+ Marvel series starring Charlie Cox (Stardust, Boardwalk Empire) as Matt Murdock / Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket, Jurassic World) as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, as the story escalates with major returns, shocking violence, and shifting power dynamics across New York City.
This episode wastes no time bringing back one of Daredevil’s most dangerous enemies, as Bullseye (Wilson Bethel – Hart of Dixie, All Rise) makes a terrifying return with a precision-driven opening that immediately sets the tone. As discussed in the reaction, the diner scene is packed with tension and dark humor, showcasing his calculated brutality and turning something as simple as a milkshake into one of the most intense intros of the season.
Meanwhile, Matt Murdock is pulled deeper into the chaos as he investigates corruption tied to Fisk, balancing his role as both lawyer and vigilante. The episode highlights his internal struggle, his connection to Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll – True Blood, Escape Room), and his return to grounded detective work, tracking Bullseye through subtle clues and heightened senses.
At the same time, Wilson Fisk’s grip on the city tightens as his public image grows, culminating in a brutal charity boxing match that spirals into something far more violent. As noted in the reaction, this sequence showcases Fisk’s volatility and how he blends power, control, and public perception as everything begins to unravel.
Everything builds toward a chaotic final act as multiple storylines collide, with Bullseye re-entering the fray, Daredevil stepping back into action, and Fisk pushed to an emotional breaking point. With shocking violence and major consequences, Episode 4 marks a major turning point for Born Again.

@daddydman81: I'm surprised you guys didn't realize the importance of Bullseye targeting Vanessa…
Remember, she was the one who ordered the hit on Foggy!
He was angry over the way he was being used!
He went for penance with the church for that, and feels the church gave him the blessing to go after FISK and his men!
He told DD "one good deed" and explained he was going to make it right… it was his way of trying to apologize to Matt for taking out Foggy! He was aiming the glass castle at Vanessa! I Doubt he intended on the belt interfering with it, but the force of the throw from Bullseye, meeting the force of the flying belt smashing it in the air, if the shard had the right trajectory, would definitely hit Vanessa with enough energy to cut into the temple and one reason that's such a soft spot of the skull because main arterial blood vessels pass there, and the reason they say not to hit people there, impact alone could rupture those blood vessels, even when it doesn't, the swelling in response to impact, would constrict and threaten those vessels, and that's why a lot of fatal responses to impact to the temple come days to weeks later, the swelling suffocates the brain, if not sought proper medical treatment!
I haven't seen beyond Episode 4 yet, but I'm sure with 99% certainty, she's dead! IT makes for a great story, giving Fisk reason to unleash hell, no holding back!
Season one of DD BA was the reintroduction to Daredevil! Season 2 I have reason to believe, will Reintroduce us to The Defenders!! Castle is been mentioned plenty of times. We know he's having his one off episode soon! I've seen screenshots of (SPOILED) 2 other defenders in future episode! I have a feeling every episode is going to unravel even more intense then the last, and introduce us to the characters Matt knew from Netflix!
@ChrisSmith-tu9bu: Well Doomsday and Punisher could be really awful for all we know not to mention X-Men 97 now that they lost their show runner BUT… starting with Thunderbolts Ive been really impressed with the MCU lately…Theyve really stepped up as of late, but when you make shows like She-Hulk and Secret Invasion basically the ONLY way is up because theyre at below basement levels but I do like how much solid material has come out and how after completely botching season one of born again they were able to create something thats both entertaining and respectful of the original Netflix series. I just hope they can land this series before getting too excited because Disney Plus has a REAL BAD habit of starting string and ending in the toilet.. I actually thought Secret Invasion might be good after a couple episodes and that maybe even She-Hulk could be redeemable but both astronomical disappointments. I think it really says something about their "fall from grace" ,pun intended, that for half a decade weve been discussing if their slump is finally over. Maybe it is…it does seem like it but then again the last five years tell me it could go infinitely terrible at any moment.

@fr5sh5r0960: remember, the governor said she couldn’t back fisk, but she could back mr and mrs fisk.. now that there is no mrs fisk, as well as an enraged and unhinged mr fisk, i see his downfall coming fast.. the witness buck just killed was able to record his own testimony beforehand.. things are falling in place..
@TheConfessor-q8p: sitting there as a neutral talking about politics and both parties failing, fencesitter, the fact is the left is all about turning kids trans, forcing them to undergo surgeries, puberty blockers and what else. They are absolutely sick, trying to portray yourself as a neutral part is just cowardly.
